Residential Painting ... We work directly with the homeowner, which requires excellent customer service and communication skills, much higher quality standards and attention to detail, understanding the homeowners' needs and concerns and so on.

Since painters work in fully furnished and occupied houses, they must be able to work in a way that causes the least disruption to the homeowners' daily life - keeping the working area clean and organized at all times, taking extra care to protect furniture, flooring, decorations and other surfaces not to be painted, daily clean up, no loud music, working in consecutive days, sticking to the schedule, meeting the deadline, etc.

Residential painting contractors must be knowledgeable in products and materials for different surfaces and situations - from wood to aluminum, from a beat-up exterior to new-born baby rooms and everything in between. New Construction ... Yes we do sub-contract work for builders and general contractors. Apartments ... Apartment and Townhome Turnovers can be a nightmare for complex owners. Contractors will constantly try to switch your product lines, upsell and you will never know who exactly is working the job. Switching product lines is costly when first done and in most circumstances is just in the best interest of the contractor and has nothing really to do with the paint itself. There are three different ways wall paper can be professionally removed: dry-stripping, wallpaper remover, or steam. Power Washing ... There are four basic elements of the powerwashing process regardless of what machine or method you use. The four elements and power washer tips are: pressure, water flow rate, cleaning soution and heat. If we take out just one of these four elements, the cleaning characteristics will change. It is in fact the process of breaking the bond between the dirt and the surface being cleaned. Power washing is essential for brick or stone homes, chimneys, decks and more.

Wood Finishing ... With the right preparation, wood staining can greatly enhance the natural grain, shades and textures of wood surfaces. Sanding, though sometimes tedious, is a necessary step in many staining projects--frequently undertaken after the piece has been stripped. Wood finishing though seemingly simple is indeed a skill and craft. We use commercial stains and match color accordingly. However, we mix most of our wood stains ourselves. Commercial stains have been around for about 100 years, but woodworkers have stained wood for centuries using pigments and dyes made from plants and minerals.

Other Services ... Many times working in this industry you learn several trades. It is common for painters to know how to do things like Power Washing, Deck Repair & Wood Finishing. We've even seen other paint companies offer snow removal, all the way to janitorial services. There are two families that have merged to form this company and between the two there are four experience painters. All four of us are experienced in these other areas and another two who also do drywall and roofing.
